Linda Ching has authored books on Hawaiian mythology, legends and history that are noted for their photographic illustrations. Her photography studio has provided award winning images since 1976. These images have been featured in television and print ads, fine art galleries and numerous one-woman exhibits. Ching's Hawaiian Goddesses Collection from her book of the same name was honored in special showings at the Hawaii State Capitol and the Cannon House Rotunda, Washington DC. Ching is currently working on "Trickster ", a comparison of universal trickster mythologies. She has been invited to exhibit her photography from "Story of the Stone" at the Meishuguan, National Gallery in Beijing.
